In 2006 my family and I had the priveledge to go on a couple of trips. Probably one of the best trips we took was to Yakima Washington. Wait, I know what you are thinking....Yakima.....best trip.....this guy is on drugs or something. Well let me explain. My wife and I have some great friends that live in Yakima. We were able to go and visit for about a week. We had a great time. My wife got the chance to visit with Tara and talk about all the domestic stuff they like, and I got to relax. Well to be honest, I was down right lazy. A part from digging a hole for a firepit, I sat in a chair on the front patio and watched the day pass lazily by. It was great!!!!! So why the picture you ask? Well, we did take a trip to Mt. Raineer one afternoon after church. It was great. The snow still covered part of the ground but it was warm enough we could be outside without a coat. We got to slide down the hill in our flip flops. It was probably a once in a lifetime thing. Some of you mom's out there are probably thinking, "I can't believe you were playing in the snow in summer ware....It would serve you right to catch a cold." Well you are probably correct. But guess what? We didn't catch a cold or even a little sniffle so there..(this is the part where I am sticking out my tongue and giving you a rasberry). Well I gotta go. My daughter is pestering me about my grammer. See Ya.
Blessings,
Hi all,
Last Saturday was my buddy Andy's 31st birthday. So his wife and I cooked up the idea to take Andy out to two of our favorite things together. 1. paintball & 2. make a video. We had a great time. I think I only received 3 welts this time around. Anything less than five welts is great in my book. Anyway you can view the video we made. It is in my video section. The video we are using as a teaser for a ministry called "Mission Paintball."
Blessings,
Hi All,
This is a picture of my youngest daughter Abby holding a kitten we got this summer (2006). Isn't this a cute picture. Yes, I know I am prejudice but I think the average person would agree that a cute little blond haired, blue eyed holding a cuddly kitten is just the thing that would melt the heart of even the most hardend person. Don't be disceived by this cute cuddly kitten. This thing is really a demon sent from hell. It's primary mission is to make sure nobody in the house gets a full night sleep. Yes that is right, I called the cat a demon. I don't mean litteraly but I wouldn't think twice about throwing it up agaist the wall if I could catch her and the kids weren't watching. I am not animal hater so don't go getting all mad and reporting me to P.E.T.A. You see, In the middle of the night when she is zooming through the house and pounces on my chest when I am dead asleep I just about go into heart failure.
I know what you are going to say, "why don't you just close the bedroom door when you go to sleep." Well my reply is always the same.....Tell it to my wife. You see she can't seem to sleep with the door closed. She says it is because it gets to stuffy but I think it is some deep seeded psycological issue where she is afraid that if the door is closed she might actually enjoy being alone with her husband. Who knows. In the mean time just keep praying for the cat, if you know what I mean.
Blessings,
Not to long ago I was asked by a friend of mine to be in a commercial for his new store. I thought cool I would love to. He said I could only be in the commercial if I would let my son be in the commercial. So I agreed. You can view the commercial on my Youtube page. (see the link in my "links" section) It is labled "Comfort Zone Commercial". My son in many ways is much like myself. He is a big "ham" in front of the camera. (as you can tell by the photo) He is good looking :) and he loves the Lord!
Stay tuned! I will be bringing you more updates on my family members and sharing special moments we have together.
Blessings
Many years ago I sat in the Boise State Pavillion now the Taco Bell Arena watching a Christian concert. An upcoming artist opened for 4 Him. This man had vocals like I never had heard. Every note was perfect and full. I quickly fell in love with his music. I often credit that night as the point in time I knew I wanted to make a career out of music.
This last summer I had the awesome priveledge of attending the 2006 Music in the rockies, held in Estes Park, Colorado. I was excited to attend this event for that many classes held on music composition and the artists that were featured in concert. Then I recieved my itinerary for the conference and saw that Michael English was opening for one of the acts. I was elated. After his very inspiring concert was over I went and stood in line to talk to him. I had the honor of telling Michael what influence he had on me and took the photo opportunity. This is definatly a time in my life I will never forget.
